Statement
As an artist in modern time, I embark my journey as a digital griot to make sense of the world around me. Being such, I tell stories with intention to live, learn and teach among others. My main goal is to explore nuanced and unfamiliar perspectives in Black representation in media with the purpose of expanding our narratives. My art encompasses my lived experiences and ancestral knowledge intertwined with my own cultural upbringing explored through themes of queerness, horror, and jumping through time between reality and dreams.
