Statement
As an artist in modern times, Imani embarks their journey as a digital griot to make sense of the world around them. In doing so, they tell stories with the intent to live and learn among others of various cultural backgrounds alongside their own. Their goal is to explore and expand unfamiliar perspectives and narratives. Their art reflects lived experiences, emotions and memories they have experienced and/or witnessed, wandering between dreams and realities.
